Al Ahly's Mohamed Magdy Afsha could be heading to the turkish super lig after the end of the season according to his agent.
Afsha has been a central pillar to Al Ahly's success in the last two years, guiding them to a total of seven trophies since arriving from Pyramids FC.
The 26-year-old's memorable strike against arch-rivals zamalek back in 2020 earned his side their first caf champions league title in seven years.
He also contributed to Al Ahly earning back-to-back bronze medals in the FIFA Club World Cup after defeating Al Hilal back in February.
Afsha has also been his side's top scorer in the egyptian premier league this season having netted eight goals while providing five assists in 26 games.
However, the playmaker could be tempted to leave Al Ahly after being linked with a move to the Turkish Super Lig.
Recent reports confirmed that Sivasspor launched a €300,000 bid to sign Afsha on a one-year loan contract with no obligation to make the deal permanent.
However, his agent Abdel-Rahman Ismail announced that Al Ahly have turned down an offer from Turkey without revealing the identity of the club.
“Afsha is focused on his Al Ahly career with Al Ahly,” Ismail told ON Time Sports. “The offers presented to him are a matter for his agent, and we are working to provide him with the best deal.
“He received an offer from the Turkish league but it did not match Al Ahly's financial demands but we will have talks with the club officials.
“The offer came from one of the teams participating in the UEFA Europa League, and Afsha's transfer to that club on loan will definitely benefit the player and Al Ahly.
“We are working to provide other opportunities for Afsha, and there are already some preliminary talks, but haven't materialised into official offers yet.”
