OFFICIAL: Ehab Galal takes charge of Al Masry

Al Masry have recently parted ways with head coach Hossam Hassan after only three months he spent in charge.

The 56-year-old manager finished the 2022/23 Premier League campaign in 13th place, which wasn't enough for him to keep his post.

Following the dismissal, Al Masry started looking for a successor to lead the team in the upcoming season, and today, the new head coach was revealed to be Ehab Galal who will be returning for a second stint with the team.

A few weeks ago, due to disappointing performances and results, Galal has been sacked as Egypt national team manager after only three games in charge.

Before then, he had a number of jobs in the , leading a number of big clubs such as Zamalek, , Al Masry, and Ismaily.

He's also had an impressive long run with Misr El-Makkasa, successfully leading them to a historic second-place finish in the EPL.

In 2018, he spent over a year with Al Masry as well, leading them in 49 games, of which he won 22 tied in 15, and suffered 12 defeats.
