FIFA president refuses to rule out Egypt joint bid to host World Cup

Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi had revealed before that Egypt are planning on hosting the 2030 World Cup and the 2032 .

Additionally, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb confirmed they are preparing to submit a formal bid to host the tournament.

Gianni Infantino spoke about the 2030 World Cup and hinted that the tournament could be coming back to the Middle East again.

“I went to those three countries [Saudi Arabia, Greece, and Egypt] and they were absolutely fantastic. The 2030 World Cup hosts will be decided two years from now,” Infantino told Al Kass TV.

“As president of FIFA, it's good to have a number of potential hosts because this pushes us to do the best we can.

“The 2022 World Cup was very successful, and I know that there will be a lot of people coming back to Qatar in the future, so why not have the tournament in an Arab country again,” he added.
