OFFICIAL: ENPPI sack Ahmed Koshary as head coach

have dismissed Ahmed Koshary as their head coach after a poor run of results, the club announced on Tuesday.

Koshary took charge of ENPPI back in September after replacing Jorvan Vieira as the club were looking to turn their form around in the league.

However, the 49-year-old won just one game during his eight-game stint with their most recent defeat to Ismaily being the final nail in the coffin.

As a result, ENPPI announced the dismissal of Koshary and revealed that a three-man committee will lead the first team on an interim basis.

“ENPPI's board would like to thank Ahmed Koshary and his staff for their contributions and wishes them the best of luck in their future endeavours,” the club said in a statement.

“Hany Abdullah, , and will temporarily take charge of the team going forward.”

Koshary had previously had stints at second-division side Tersana as well as Aswan and Entag El-Harby in the top flight.
