Al Feyha's response came 10 minutes later as Sultan Mandash's volleyed strike at the edge of the box forced a good stop from Ittihad's Marcelo Grohe.

Despite their momentum, Al Feyha were handed a blow in the 24th minute and were reduced to ten men due to Abdulrahman Al-Safri's reckless challenge on Tarek Hamed.

Vladimir Stojković was called into action twice near the half-hour mark to deny Hamdallah and Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti and keep Al Feyha in the game.
