The 2022/23 EFA League Cup Round of 16 and quarterfinals draw revealed exciting clashes as Al Ahly face Al Masry, while Zamalek will host Al Bank Al Ahly.
The second edition of the Egyptian League Cup is being playing as a knockout tournament replacing the group stage format used in the first edition.
All egyptian premier League clubs take part in the competition except for Aswan and El Dakhleya who lost in the preliminary round against Ghazal El-Mahalla and Haras El Hodood respectively.

The Round of 16 and the quarter-finals will take place during the March international break, while the semi-finals and the final will be played in June.
