egyptian national team defender Ahmed Hegazi hailed the cohesion between the players ahead of facing malawi in 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
The Pharaohs are hoping to repeat their victory over Malawi when the two sides face off on Tuesday in the Malawian capital Lilongwe.

The victory in Malawi will put the Egyptians one step closer to Côte d'Ivoire as they will need just one point from the following two games.
Hegazi praised the spirit in Egypt's camp ahead of Malawi's encounter insisting that the players are determined to return to Egypt with the three points.
“The Egyptian national team is like one family, and all the players act as one unit,” Hegazi said in the press conference before Malawi's game.
“The national team always represents all Egyptian clubs, and the door is always open for all players to have the honor of representing Egypt,”
“Our goal is always to win every match, and all the players are ready to face Malawi. We will do our best to win,”
The Ittihad Jeddah defender stressed on the importance of fans' return to the stands in the home games for the future of the Egyptian National Team.
“The Egyptian National Team needs the fans to return to the stands. This will motivate us to achieve victories and win trophies,” Hegazi concluded.
