Al Ahly have lifted the egypt Cup title for the 10th time after beating Sporting Club of Alexandria 32-22 in the final.
Just a few days ago, Al Ahly beat their arch-rivals zamalek to win the egyptian handball league for the 24th time in the club's history.
The Reds managed to repeat their win over Zamalek, but this time in the Egypt Cup semi-finals, to face title holders Sporting in the final, who had defeated Smouha.
The first half was very tight between both sides, who entered the break tied at 13-13, before Al Ahly advanced in the second half, ending the match comfortably in their favor.
Al Ahly succeeded in clinching the Egypt Cup title for the 10th time in their history, and became the first team to complete the domestic double since 2014.
