zamalek superstar ahmed sayed zizo is reportedly on the radar of Qatar Stars League side Al-Rayan for a summer move.
Since joining the White Knights in 2019, Zizo made 188 appearances, in which he netted 58 goals and provided 49 assists across all competitions.
According to Al Raya newspaper Al-Rayyan entered into serious negotiations for the second time with Ahmed Sayed Zizo to sign the player to their Ranks.
Al-Rayyan were said to be interested in Zizo back in September 2022; however, the deal was disrupted in the last moments due to Zamalek's desire to keep their star.
Subsequently, Zizo signed a new three-year deal, which will run until the summer of 2025, but it doesn't seem that it will keep the Qatari interest away.
Al-Rayyan currently finished ninth in Qatari Stars League after a disappointing season and will aim to sign Zizo to improve their squad.
The 27-year-old started his career in the youth ranks of Wadi Degla, before going abroad in 2014 where he then joined club affiliate lierse SK of belgium.
After showing great promise in Belgium, Zizo made a move to Portugal to join CD Nacional in 2017 on loan, and six months later, he was snapped up by another Portuguese side, moreirense FC.
The winger struggled at Moreirense, before deciding to return back home in 2019 through Zamalek, and since then, he's been showing massive improvements.
