Egyptian Premier League outfit Ceramica Cleopatra have announced the appointment of Helmy Toulan as their new head coach.
This decision comes after the departure of the Tunisian coach Moine Chaabani who has resigned from his role to take charge of Espérance Sportive de Tunis.
Toulan has been coaching in the Egyptian Premier League for more than two decades, leading a number of clubs including Zamalek, Smouha, Al Masry, Ittihad of Alexandria, and ENPPI.
His most recent stint was at bank al ahly, which he coached for eight matches only this season, before departing last January.
The 73-year-old return to management will come as Ceramica Cleopatra face Future fc in the 29th round of the Egyptian premier league next Wednesday.
Ceramica Cleopatra are currently 12th on the league table with 31 points, three points, ahead of Bank al ahly Club, who are on the verge of relegation.
