Zamalek coach Christian Gross has conveyed he is excited to start along with his team the Arab Club Champions Cup when they face Kuwaiti club Qadsia in the round of 32.
Zamalek have finalised their preparations for the first leg against Qadsia in the Round of 32 in the Arab Club Champions Cup on Saturday, with the second leg scheduled to take place on the 28th of September.
“Zamalek players are well prepared for tomorrow’s game. We respect our opponents, but we are at the beginning of the season and anything could happen,” Gross said in pre-match press conference.
“I don’t know anything about Qadsia’s playing style but we will play to win. We know that it is a strong team and they have made new signings and are known for their physical presence, the thing which makes the game more difficult.”
“The Arab Club Champions Cup is very important and includes several big from Gulf and African area and we are happy to participate in it.”
